Public Policy Center
Student ResourcesCheckout this service opportunity with the City of Boise that may interest an MPA student. It is to serve on the City of Boise Public Works Commission. My understanding is that it meets once a month. Usually, a student serves on these commissions, and it is often a high school student, but this commission demands a level of technical expertise that an MPA student may possess. For further information, have students contact Theresa McLeod directly, at 384-4406, or tmcleod@cityofboise.org. Graduate students in public policy and public administration will be interested to know about State and Local Government Review, an affordable, relevant, nationally refereed journal that explores the politics, policies, and management of state and local governments in our intergovernmental system. Published by the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government, the Review is sponsored by the Section on Intergovernmental Administration and Management of the American Society for Public Administration.
