Faculty in the Department of Public Policy and Administration work closely with MPA students and graduates who seek support and assistance in their career development. Internships can offer valuable networking and development opportunities. Current Openings
Immediate opening for a shared work-study position within the Departments of Political Science and Public Administration. Must have a current work study funding award in place from Financial Aid.
The Oregon Department of Human Services is conducting a national search for the Director of Children, Adults and Families Division.
The chosen candidate will administer federal and state social service laws, regulations, and programs for children and families. Children, Adults, and Families (CAF) serves thousands of Oregonians in the very sensitive areas of family life, care of children, and vocational rehabilitation.

The Partnership in Public Service conducted an informative survey of the Federal Government and what the hiring needs are through 2009 in 34 agencies across the country. Info and link is below.
The federal government is hiring, and if your background is in security, youre at the top of Uncle Sams most-wanted list, according to a new report - Where the Jobs Are: Mission Critical Opportunities for America, released by the Partnership for Public Service. The report outlines government-wide projected hiring needs through 2009 and is based on a survey of 34 federal agencies representing nearly 99 percent of the federal workforce. The survey finds nearly 193,000 mission critical jobs need to be filled in the next two years! -PARTNERSHIP IN PUBLIC SERVICE
